I get the part about wanting to be the man, but USC doesn’t get the part about having to beat the man. I’m not just talking about UGA. I mean any team that is superior to them. Why can’t we be like those teams,because you have to beat one first. Then another, then another. Jealousy + Overconfidence = USC

They actually aren't overconfident. Massive inferiority complex--they try to make themselves believe
I can't blame them.
Either way, this game could easily be a dogfight. SC isn't a creampuff. Georgia will have to be at their best if they want to avoid a last second finish

Meh, I think they just have the punchers chance hope going on. They have one of the best teams they’ve put on the field, and it’s a home game. I don’t see SC fans running around with the “We want Bama” mentality. They have a decent team, home game, early in the season, and they don’t have a reason to quit on their team before the game actually starts. Homers and fans, not quite what I’d call jealous and overconfident

The only rivalry Georgia had with South Carolina was when The Hated Steve Spurrier was the coach. Once we finally beat him so bad that he quit on his team and the school after we hung over half a hunnerd on him, that rivalry started to die off.

USC and UGA is as much a rival as UGA and UK in basketball.....considering that basketball usually means at least 2 games per year UGAs record against UK in basketball is about the same as USCs against UGA in football.....in other words the series ain’t really competitive.
Does USC have a lopsided record in football against anyone y’all played a bunch? Maybe Vandy or the Citadel?
