I'm going to start with the officiating for this game.

It was awful.

Louisville wide receiver grabbed a handful of Patrick Surtains face mask, and ran with it for about five yards. Then the wide receiver slapped Patrick Surtain in the helmet on the side line directly in front of the ref.

Said ref throws flag

Then... this is where it gets comical

The refs enforced the personal foul against Bama, and move the ball fifteen yards up field, and give Louisville a first down

How is that possible you ask ?

I have no idea.

Louisville was awarded a first down and fifteen yards for being guilty of a personal foul.

I wish Tua had gotten the whole first half so he could have gone over 300.

Get Brian Robinson more carries.

I hope Mack is healthy.

I would've liked to see more of the run offense but I understand Tua is incredibly accurate.

The first half pass pressure without blitzing was lacking. But, the second half pass pressure was much better.

Kicking and punting have ways to go.

Let's stop pretending there is a competition between tua and Jalen. Just put it to bed so we can move on

I agree.

Here is the thing -

CNS is creating all the hype around the QB situation. If he had named Tua the starter, and brought Hurts in as the clear backup late in the third no one would be talking about it.

He is 100% responsible for all the hoopla around our QB's.

The coaches should have spent this summer grooming Jalen for another position.

Something he may could take to the League.

1.) Not completely happy with our DB play, outside of Thompson.

2.) Would like to see our O-Line dominate from start to finish.

3.) Might not be a popular opinion, but Robinson deserves to take some of N. Harris’ carries.

You don’t need Saban to say anything. Just move on. It’s obvious.

He’s not athletic enough to play another position - at least not on this team.

Literally the only thing I’m worried about at this moment is Mack Wilson’s health.

Need to improve coverage. But they’re young so it’s understandable.

Kicking woes as usual.

OL got pushed around a bit in the first half.

If we’re going to continue to play Jalen in games, for Pete sakes, have a package for him that he is capable of executing. Asking him to run the same plays as Tua is laughable and only accentuates his shortcomings. Locksley did a poor job of calling plays that Jalen could run well.

Looks to me like the team has. The only ones saying otherwise are the media and fans.

I think he could rush the passer, if properly trained to do so.

We don't have enough scholarship QBs in our QB room for this idea.

Complaints

-Offensive line was surprisingly weak in the first half. I thought they would be solid, but they had a better second half.

-Defense got nickel and dimed a lot. Expected. I'm not too concerned. Thompson looked really good.

-Letting Jalen play the second quarter is the biggest one. I'm okay with Jalen playing the game out with 5 minutes left in the third. Let Tua be the starter. Let him feel like the starter. Try to push our offense to the limit. The WR's get more catches in games with Tua. The Running backs have easier time running with Tua. Everything is better with Tua. It feels too political having this "co-starter" crap.
