Who do you think it will be?

South Carolina is always dangerous, especially early.

Auburn will be Auburn, so it depends which team shows up.

But I'd wager on LSU. I think Burrow is a legit QB and it will be the first time they've had that since Mett. Not sure how much of a step back their running game might take, if any. They are usually pretty loaded on the talent front, especially at that position. A good passing game could make even a good back look great, too. Oh, and it's in Death Valley.

I am leaning towards mizzou. Lock has thrown it around on us at will the last two years, and it will be there biggest home game of the year.

I've said it just about every thread....

We will lose at least 1 to @USCjr, @LSU, @FU, and Auburn. Could still make it to the SECCG losing 2 of those too.

SC and LSU. Although I think LSU is still thin in the secondary so if they can't get to Fromm, he is going to light them up.

Right now I'll go with LSU. Their defense is absolutely loaded with blue chip athletes, about as loaded as our offense but not as experienced. They'll be battle tested after playing Miami, Auburn, Ole Miss and Florida, and we'll be their first big home game of the year. Depends on how their offense shows up, but playing them in BR will be a big challenge.

Hopefully, this team's mindset is the same as last season: Every game is the most important. Looking ahead will only get you beat. And at the moment, we have a target on our back due to our exposure and success last season. And of course our recruiting prowess as well.

Auburn. They'll want revenge for the SECCG.

Either Auburn or LSU. Auburn will be the more balanced team but LSU will be in Baton Rouge.

All of the SEC teams. They need to play each game like each one is as important as the one before. Every game matters.

I have concern about USCe in Columbia early in the season.

LSU makes my arse itch as well.

Other than that, based on talent alone....we should not drop a game.

Auburn's #1 weapon against us in the regular season game that we lost was Johnson..and he gone. When he was lame in the SECCG, it showed...and we demolished them.

Our D is not gonna be as suspect as many think imho. I think the Dline in particular is going to stifle some teams. Ledbetter and D. Marshall are legit. I also think that Natrez Patrick is gonna have a coming out party at ILB.

The depth and talent at WR and RB, not too mention the Phil Steele #2 O-line in the country...led by either Fromm or Fields...is gonna be hard for alot of the teams we play to simply keep up with. We are going to be as explosive if not more explosive on offense than we were last season. think about the Rose bowl game. Can the teams in our schedule shoot out with us offensively?

We may not play for a Natty this season because I think there are some elite teams that will make it in to the playoffs, but I can see us getting there with another SEC Title and the East title for sure..

USCjr worried me during the CMR years. I don't think it'll be an issue, headed into next Saturday. The talking points will be aflame, nonetheless, but I fully expect a 3 score victory.

LSU will be the first real test, and I'm praying for a 3:30 kickoff for that one, just to strip them of their nighttime DV mojo.

Auburn will be another 3Q game, and then we bust it open at home in the 4th. They're not at JHS, so I'm not worried about them.

If LSU is 5-1 or better going into that game, I think we lose.

If they’re 3-3 or worse, I think we dominate them.

If they’re 4-2 I have no idea.

Well as much as I appreciate the confidence you have in my alma mater and original home town team... I on the other hand am pretty confident that although LSU does have talent there is one major factor that should allow all of you to rest easy and will ensure y’all have a lovely visit to Baton Rouge......

I think half of Athens will be at my families tailgate. I even have the guy who owns the BBQ joint in Epps bridge joining...I don’t even know his name.. all are welcome. You won’t be hungry or sober for the game...[
