My first is 1998 Auburn. Auburn won by a TD if my memory is correct.
Next is Vandy in the early 2000s when Zolman was QB for Vandy. It was so hot people left the stadium. I too left and watched the rest of the game in the Rebel Shop with a bunch of OM fans.
As for watching on TV it would be 1999 Auburn, 2017 Egg Bowl and 2014 Alabama.
2002 Florida. I’d never witnessed a goal post come down.
Last, 2000 Auburn. Facing Tuberville for the first time.
We would tailgate at the observatory which is a stones throw from VHS.

1999
3-0 Memphis game. ( woof)
Most memorable:
nothing compares to 2014 Alabama- sat in the Alabama section that day with a good friend of mine and several Bama fans came to congratulate us on the win after it was over.

First: honestly don’t know, I’ve been going my whole life. I was very young (I was 4 when he graduated) but can clearly remember seeing Eli play.
Most memorable: Alabama 2014. Woke up at 5:30 A.M. to go see college gameday, spoke to some gumps, hung out with friends, witnessed the most exhilarating game of my life and then rushed the field with thousands others.
I don’t think that experience will ever be topped for me.

First: '97 Egg Bowl in Starkville. Stewart Patridge marched us down the field in the waning minutes to a TD and 2pt conversion to win. Rufus French jumped what felt like 10 ft in the air over a DB for a long gain on that drive. I thought he was Superman. Amazing game.
Most memorable: '14 Bama. Loudest I've ever heard the Vaught in person. No real explanation needed here. Just an unreal experience. My favorite Ole Miss team ever. Went to more games that season than I ever have and that defense was just...wow.

First game I actually remember was in the late 90’s when Deuce housed the opening kickoff against Arkansas.
Most memorable in person would have to include:
2009 Cotton Bowl against Texas Tech
2009 LSU
2012 State (Feed Moncrief)
2013 LSU
2014 Alabama
2014 State

First game was 2003 against LSU. I was a senior in high school and tore my ACL and MCL the night before. Came down with the flu that night.
Do y’all have any idea how difficult it is to switch between shitting and puking your brains out with a freshly fricked up knee? I do.
Most memorable. Probably the back-to-back Cotton Bowls or Sugar Bowl.
Only home game I’ve been able to make since 11 was Georgia a few years ago. Back South so I should actually be able to make every home game this year.

First game: 2015 UT Martin
I took advantage of how good we were that year when I became a fan...

Against UT Martin, we ran a screen pass to Robert Nkemdiche up 27 points early in the second quarter

If only we had been able to see that season (2015) off in accordance with the personnel we put on the field.

First game: 2010 Jacksonville State
Most Memorable: Bama 2014, also my last semester of college. I rushed the field and carried the goal post through campus down university to the square.

First game that I remember specifically attending was 1999 vs Bama. I know there were a couple of games before then, but I was so young I just can't remember.
Most memorable are easily 14 & 15 vs Bama. I was at both games, and both times were magical. Sugar bowl is also up there. I was lucky to be a student during those years of OM football.

Wow.i now realize how young most of the posters here are! My first Ole Miss game in person was 1962 in Baton Rouge with my Dad who was a huge LSU fan, huge. My Mom was an Ole Miss fan and so was I. I was 7 and that was the hot ticket LSU Ole Miss was one of, if not the biggest, rivalry in the country. My Dad was a season ticket holder and we went and Ole Miss won 15-7 I think. We won I know that. I had a blast. My Dad hated Ole Miss but loved Johhny Vaught as a coach. He and I watched the Alabama Ole Miss 33-32 game in 1969 and he was a huge rebel fan that night.
In this regard I am with Dores and Henry in not accepting mediocrity. We were ranked every year, let that snk in, every year, in my childhood. I won't accept mediocrity.
My 2 cents,
PilotReb
PS my old eyes have a hard time seeing if my spelling and grammar are correct.
PPS we won the next year in Baton Rouge but then lost a heartbreaker 11-10 in Baton Rouge, that sucked.
