the ironic thing about that is last offseason all the Vols on here were harping about being one of the only teams never to have gone winless in the SEC

He was the #1 or 2 overall QB that year.....everyone would have taken him. However, after watching the new season of Last Chance U I now see why he has NO offers.

If I recall he was a fairly decent pass rusher. He was no Garrett or even Lawson, but he was okay.

On 247 sports it says that Ole Miss offered Malik Henry on Oct 13, 2017, but now it is almost football season and Henry is not with anyone. I wonder if Malik Henry thought he was too good for Ole Miss and ignored them only to not get more offers, or if Ole Miss learned more about him and backed off.

Absolutely mind blowing that a 5 star QB that has the football IQ to match can't stop talking shite to literally everyone long enough for someone to give him a chance. Throwing away a free top tier degree at a minimum, and likely millions of dollars.

agree completely. You can tell he's a smart kid and very talented but has some serious maturity/mental issues. Honestly, I don't think he really wants to play football and is only playing football because of his shithead father who wasn't even a part of his life until it became apparent he was good at football and saw dollar signs. But it's very understandable why he was ranked so high coming out of high school.
