If Jimbo can't do it then I don't think anyone can.

It depends on whether LSU gets it together soon.

If so, it's going to be very tough to have 4 national powers in the same division.

This would be true if Auburn and A&M weren't in the west, so you were almost right.

At that salary, if they haven’t won the SEC twice and a national championship by year 5 it is a massive failure.

They'll be much improved by 2019 and will be the strongest competitor to Alabama for the west division soon.

In 5 years Sumlin would have had a better overall record at A&M than Jimbo.

A&M just signed Dennis Franchione 2.0 to a 10 year contract.

Jimbo has only been a coach at FSU. He had great success there but I doubt it translates to aTm. He needs to relinquish control of the offense and defense, FSU has run his offense and defense. FSU started 22 NFL starters in 2013, that's what it takes for his teams to win it all. I don't see him bringing in that kind of talent to College Station. He does less with more

A&M will be a middle of the road occasional 10 game winner under Jimbo. They bought a bag of magic beans

The correct answer is 90 days from today, June 11th, 2018. That day will be September 8th, 2018.

How long before the heat death of the universe?

I'll give about 2 years prior to that.
