Athens brought you REM and the B-52's. That place makes Columbia look conservative.

If you're ranking the cities, then Athens is definitely liberal. It has a big art and music scene, and most of the people who stick around after graduation are those types. As far the student body goes, your agricultural majors help to balance out the arts/liberal arts majors and make the student body a good bit more conservative. Around 90% of UGA students are still from the state of Georgia, which, outside of Atlanta, is still solid red.

UGA is pretty dang liberal. lots of shirt lifters on that campus. I would rank Auburn as more conservative than that list shows.

Idk man, its been a while since you went there. Some of the frats like Farm House are super conservative but a good bit of students lean left these days.

Wouldn't call them liberal, they just vote Democrat for obvious reasons.

I've never seen a list that has Auburn as more liberal than Alabama. Almost every list has Auburn in the Top 20 or so schools nationally in terms of being "conservative" (whatever that even means nowadays in this type of discussion).

Any black person that votes Democrat is not only a chump but a traitor to their race.
