If Dan Mullen is successful in his first year at UF, will the rest of the SEC freak out?

I am going to go with yes.

Given the talent discrepancy he has at UF currently due to an incompetent predecessor, if Mullen can find some success with what UF has right now, he will scare the shite out of the rest of the SEC.

A "successful" season being a 9-win season, in my opinion.

Get ready, SEC!

Nah, we'll just wait for his "recruiting" to kick in.

Will Florida fans lose their shite if he struggles to win 6 or 7 games?

I can't disagree with this.

Aww hell. Florida with a 9 win season isn't going to scare the shite out of anyone.

Not until he wins with his own players say straws. Jury would still be out.

I expect he will be successful his first year. Moving to the SEC East is a huge advantage for him. Instead of an entire division that’s competitive his only real contender is Georgia. Why would he not be successful his first year?

Nobody will be scared of Mullen until he wins a championship, 9 wins? Stop this madness. We play 4 teams with a pulse next year, if he beats one of them it wouldn’t be that surprising. He still hasn’t landed a single five star recruit, you’re just asking to be shite on right now.

Georgia and South Carolina are both formidable.

Tenn is a shite show, but so is Florida. That's a 50/50 tossup in my opinion.

Although Florida should beat UK/Vandy/Mizz, each of those teams beats someone they aren't supposed to every year. It could very well be Florida.

Remember also that the West doesn't have any non-conference rivals like the East does.

Florida has to play FSU.

Florida also has a permanent West rival in LSU. Granted this is a rebuilding year for LSU too, but that's a 50/50 tossup.

I'm just not seeing where this guaranteed success comes from, based on "easy east" scheduling.

No one cared when y’all had Urban. Why would we care now that you have Mullen.

IF does not have a talent discrepancy except with Bama. That is a good prepackaged excuse though.
