Having been to all of these except Hobbs, I'm going to tell you that none of the others is as bad as Port Arthur, TX.

Macon and Augusta GA are pretty bad (Augusta National being the only redeeming quality of the latter). Montgomery, AL has always struck me as a shite hole as well

Meh, Lubbock isn't that bad. And none of your Texas cities listed are as bad as Beaumont.

Albany, GA
Vidalia, GA
Douglas, GA (the town in SoGa, not the county)

Jackson, MS takes the cake for me

Jackson is really bad, but it has parts that are at least decent. Some other places are just completely bad with no good at all

Grady is a dump I will grant you, but its got a population of you, me, and that dog over there. There are like 500 people living there. Its got a fighting shot at worst small town I know of, but I don't think it has enough folks for a city.
Most of the cities I went to out on the West Coast were fairly terrible. Oakland should get a nod.

So we can make the assumption that a lot of Georgia outside Atlanta, Athens, the north Georgia mountains and Savannah/coast sucks.

Much of Atlanta and it's southern suburbs are worse than any other spot in Georgia that has been named in this thread.

Once got a speeding ticket in Reform, Al., for going 36 in a 35 MPH zone.

Bahahaha.... this is only true if you hate the city and suburbia. Peachtree City is a great city south of Atlanta, and so is much of Coweta. South Georgia is an armpit, much like Mississippi.
But in reality I couldn’t care less. I left the south for much greener pastures a couple years ago.

Nice how you use Peachtree City as your shining example but left out College Park, Riverdale, East Point, Hapeville, etc etc. Yeah buddy, prime real estate there.
