Between games in Final Four thread we were discussing awful places we have a southwest bracket set

1. Altus, Ok
2. Lubbock, TX
3. Hobbs, NM
4. Amarillo, TX
5. Eagle Pass, TX
6. Laredo, TX

Can you add a sub regional or regional

Some that I think we can place in this tournament are:

Grady, AR
Clarksdale, MS
Jackson, MS
Fairland, OK

Having been to all of these except Hobbs, I'm going to tell you that none of the others is as bad as Port Arthur, TX.

Macon and Augusta GA are pretty bad (Augusta National being the only redeeming quality of the latter). Montgomery, AL has always struck me as a shite hole as well

Meh, Lubbock isn't that bad. And none of your Texas cities listed are as bad as Beaumont.

Grady is a dump I will grant you, but its got a population of you, me, and that dog over there. There are like 500 people living there. Its got a fighting shot at worst small town I know of, but I don't think it has enough folks for a city.

Most of the cities I went to out on the West Coast were fairly terrible. Oakland should get a nod.

lots of places in NM. I was just there last week. Holy reservation land, batman. That's all there fricking is. Albuquerque is essentially landlocked by Indian reservation. Just trailers and casinos everywhere.

When I was stationed at Fort Knox I occasionally went down to Louisville and that is a nasty city folks. Trash on the streets and straight trash everywhere. Cincinnati was only a 90 minute drive or so and I went there when I wanted a weekend getaway.
