MSU has won 5 in a row. Gave up 5 runs in the process over 48 total innings. ERA is 0.94 over that stretch.

State handcuffed a team to 1 run in 2 games. Apparently, NM State averaged over 10 runs a game and a team batting average of .381. They also scored 39 runs in a game.

Not sure why LSU has to lose so many midweek games to in-state schools. Same as last year.

Tiger rant says it's how Maneri handles midweek games, but I don't get it.

RPIs are still settling down as the season moves along. Typically the teams with the best W-L records right now have the better RPIs, while teams with shitty W-L have bad ones.

But we're starting to see some patterns develop: UGA having a top 30 RPI despite having 5 losses, means that UGA has actually played a tough schedule thus far. Vandy isn't far off that. While 13-1 Texas A&M barely being in the top 70, and 12-2 UK being out of the top 80, means both teams have played mostly cotton candy schedules thus far....

Won't put too much into it at the moment. AU is sitting at #71 SOS, but then again, that's ahead of Ole Miss/Arkansas/Mizzou/LSU/Bama/UF/A&M/MSU/UK

The four that best AU's SOS:

USC - 21
UGA - 34
Vandy - 50
UT - 64

So at 13-0 w/the #5 SOS in the SEC, I'm feeling pretty good about AU's team this season.
