Wolk put up an insider yesterday as well. Here's summary
- Another big weekend of OVs as Dylan Jordan, Kameron Brown, Le'Darrius Cox & Christopher Russell are expected on campus (this came out before the Ira Henry news)
- Wolk says AU made the biggest moves for Kamaar Bell & Octavius Brothers this past weekend. AU is apparently very confident on Bell who they like at center. Brothers is still one to watch with OVs to GT/MIA but it will probably take a lot to overtake AU
- AU has long had an eye on Jammie Robinson but haven't been mentioned much in his recruitment until now. OV went a lot ways towards making him but more importantly his mother comfortable with the Tigers. Visits UT this weekend so that's something to watch. AU has eyes on Robinson or Maurice Hampton for that final DB spot
- Not as much confidence on Jamious Griffin & Jamond Gordon. Griffin is probably behind Richards & signed RB DJ Williams on the RB board. Would AU be willing to take 3 backs? Wolk thinks that would only happen if they missed elsewhere. As for Gordon, his heart appears to be in Oxford and it's unlikely he lands back with the Tigers
- Wolk echoes KN's thoughts on 4* DL Charles Moore in that UF is a threat but AU still feels like the team to beat. Apparently his dad was in communication with AU's coaching staff while still on the OV in Gainesville. Wolk says Marcus Woodson has killed this recruitment and is a big reason why AU is in a good spot with the talented DL. That previous relationship with Dan Mullen is something to watch tho
- UF is also the top threat to AU for 4* RB Mark-Antony Richards. He had a good visit to UF but Wolk is still VERY confident that Richards ends up at AU
- Not surprisingly Kameron Brown is on commit watch this weekend. AU would take him now if he wanted onboard but his mom wants to sit down with staff and understand what his role will be with the Tigers. Obviously there's a relationship there already having Derrick Brown already on campus but their mom just wants to check all the boxes before signing off. Brown has talked a ton with T-WILL & Wolk seems to believe he's going to be an H-Back not a LB for the Tigers
- Wolk isn't optimistic on AU's 2019 OT situation this class. At the time he wrote this 3* Dawand Jones seemed like the only real target & its not certain he will even OV. Pointed out that AU has offered a ton of OTs in 2020 class this week
- AU sent whole coaching staff to see 4* CB Maurice Hampton on Sunday which shows how highly valued he is. With that said, LSU is VERY confident he will stick & he's planning to visit them again this weekend. Wolk says AU should know after that visit if they still have a legit chance or not in that recruitment

Missouri OT visiting Auburn this weekend (Rivals)
quote:
Auburn has added a recruit to its visitor list for this weekend, and it’s a big one.
Ira Henry, a 6-foot-5, 295-pound offensive tackle from St. Louis, Mo., is scheduled to arrive in Auburn on Friday and stay until Sunday.
“Me, my mom and my dad will be there,” Henry said. “I’ve never been there, so I’m definitely looking forward to it.”
Henry scheduled the visit Wednesday night after an in-home meeting with Auburn offensive line coach J.B. Grimes. It was Henry’s first time meeting Grimes.
“I just started hearing from him earlier this week and then he came to my house (Wednesday night),” Henry said. “I like him. He’s a good coach. I think he would be a good coach to develop me and get me to the next level where I want to be.”
The meeting wasn’t just about football. Grimes talked about the importance of academics and attaining a degree.
“His message is different than other coaches,” Henry said. “He’s telling me that all of his guys get their degrees. He said he’d get me setup to get my degree in 3 or 3 1/2 years.”
Grimes also talked about the opportunity at Auburn for early playing time.
“He said there is a good chance for me to play early because they need tackles,” Henry said. “Their tackles are going to the league and their back-up tackle, too.”
Henry’s visit to Auburn will be his third official visit. He visited Iowa in June and Florida last weekend. He also has an official visit scheduled to Florida State Jan. 25-27. A fifth and final visit could come in February.
“But I don’t know where it will be, yet,” Henry said.

Same. I was shocked at his username over there.
What was his username over there?
I'm also a transfer from that site, my username was Barney.

He's kind of evaporated. Was scarce to begin with after AE merged into AF, but he hasn't been around for a few years now.

He was the owner of the site. He got all of his intel from Trooper......or so a MOD who I trusted told me.

Looks like composite got updated. It appears George Pickens is a 5* now
Also DJ Williams up to a 4*
Auburn also moved up to #4 in average player ranking behind only Bama, UGA & Ohio State

What is Gus so busy doing that we keep sending everyone sans him to these kids houses? He's still getting 7m right?
Posted on 1/17/19 at 9:11 am to RandySavage
My assumption is he’s either already used his in home visit, or is saving the in home for closer to NSD.

He can only use one visit. Typically you save those for closer to decision date. If he goes with them then he can't visit them again before player signs

Yep. You usually see most HC’s visit right before signing day to try and seal the deal.

Still surprised JaVarrius Johnson’s monster senior season didn’t get him the small bump he needed in order to get his 4th

probably a Tigers/Utes battle
That's a first

Well it's not so much an AU/UT battle now apparently
KN says that all the other schools are selling Jordan hard on fact he probably won't be able to see field early for AU. Also his dad REALLY likes TCU and their in home did enough to convince him to go back to original plan to OV to TCU this weekend. KN says there are a lot of people in his group with different ideas and preferences. AU is going to keep working on him but Tigers definitely trending down now for the moment
