What is the reason Bama fans think Bama only beats itself?

Besides:

Loss to Auburn 2017 we got beat. totally though it didn't matter
Loss to Clemson 2016 we got beat but not physically
Loss to Ohio St 2014 beatdown
Loss to Ole Miss 2014 not quite sure how but we got beat
Loss to A&M 2012 beat by great QB - could have won towards the end but benefit of the doubt.
Loss to LSU 2010 Got beat though we shouldn't have but we did.
Loss to UF 2008 Tebow beat us

which loss did we not beat ourselves? Would be happy to hear about it and discuss.

Your posts can be very good but you have been a bitch about officiating for several years now. I might think that you are the real Patrick P. but I know he is not the girl you are about complaining. Like a man, he moves on when he doesn't get his way but you have complained quite a bit about Bama for a LOOOOONG time now. Would love to hear your side of things.

Yours seems to be the only fan base wanting the SEC offices moved out of Birmingham. Why?

Also hear rumblings from LSU fans about wanting to leave the conference, because the cheating has gotten so bad.

If they move the office out of Biringham Saban would have to move his satellite office out of headquarters ( its next to the comish). He only spends a few hours a month in tHam, but he is able to accomplish quite a bit.

So no to moving.

Usually LSU Patrick is a very solid poster, but even the most seasoned LSU posters can't resist the urge to talk about officiating. It's truly fascinating to watch, great theater.

The funny part is that back in the late 90s and early 00s, I thought they were actively persecuting Alabama, particularly when Rocky Goode was officiating games.

Maybe the real answer is that refs have some kind of subconscious impulse to help teams perceived to be better than their opponents.

Look at this disgusting piece of TN shite:

They really believe the refs conspire with Bama to get the call at the right time to ensure we win even though we rank dead last in opponents penalties the last 2 years.

They really do believe we give new dodge chargers to elite football recruits that sign with us.

They really do believe that since the office is in Birmingham that means we get favoritism from the staff.

They should just own it. They hate us more than our instate rival does and their hatred and envy is salty as frick. It is just a game guys and you will beat us again sometime in the future, just not the near future. Hang in there tiger fans.

For years and years I have seen blatant calls against LSU WHEN playing BAMA. I've actually gotten to the point it is no use complaining. It is what it is. Of course you have your maroon glasses on as well and either you blatantly choose to ignore it or you guys just can't process it. To be fair If the shoe/cleat was on the other foot , most LSU fans would not be able to either.
I'm no longer complaining, just explaining. To the reason why I could speculate but at this point I suppose no one really knows except the powers/persons responsible.

No, you haven’t. You’ve seen missed calls and close calls, and you’ve completely ignored missed calls and close calls that went the other way. I would tell you to go click the link that says “confirmation bias,” but, honestly, I don’t think you’d understand it.

Not saying I’m sold, but if you really are interested in a line of thinking:

SEC wants playoff spots and especially championships. $

Bama has been the best team and has the best chance to get voted in and best chance to win. Get the benefit of the doubt rather than cost the league

Some have felt other great teams throughout the years may have gotten the same treatment against non contenders too

quote:

Conferences (and that means only Power 5 teams) receive $6 million for each team that is selected for a semifinal game. Conferences receive $4 million for each team that reaches a non-playoff New Year's Six bowl

10mil is nothing crazy buts it something, not to mention the indirect benefits to the conference. If it’s an important moment in a close game against a 2+ loss conference foe (most years a UGA isn’t on the other side) i don’t think it’s completely crazy to imagine the conference not eliminating itself from the big stage.
I imagine you’d find a lot of 9-10 figure entities aren’t above quietly ensuring their cash flow through unethical means

In the reality the whole SEC office in Birmingham, Mark Emmett being the head of the NCAA, and Bama being by far the best program in the country is just naturally going to get people going. Could be nothing, could be something, but people always look for reasons why someone is doing it better. A lot of you will too when someone else is on top

YES I HAVE!!!! Hey BAMA fan it is no secret, everyone except bama fans know it. Serioysly, it would be better at this point that you resign yourself to the truth and just say ,.I don't care, I'm glad the "power's assist BAMA in blatant cheating to win. It really is ok, most of the SEC has accepted what they cannot change.

Confirmation Bias: My BIL is a Bama fan. He thinks that the SEC is out to get Bama and that all the calls go against Bama.

He truly believes that Les Miles is an a-hole and that Nick Saban is a nice guy.

Nope.

If you have you likely still ignore the calls that go against Alabama. In 2015 and 2016 Alabama had arguably the best front 7 in CFB yet almost no offensive holding penalties were called against Bama opponents in either year. Alabama also ranks dead last in the nation in fewest penalties yards by opponents each of the last 2 years.

It's how they tamp down any criticism that might make their athletic programs look less that perfect. It works fairly well on the SECr due mostly to all of the dick riders on this board.

My previous comment was not intended as a deflection. It was a rhetorical question meant to enlighten the OP should he actually want an answer. Bama has its own way of coping and its own style of denial.
