Where is the SEC office located? Where do most workers, referees, umpires, etc live?? I’m sure there is a bias involved. Even if they try to be fair and neutral it’s not possible when the majority have family, friends, neighbors, coworkers who are mostly Bama fanatics.

Nice read. I actually met the Bear in Fla on vacation 2ith my dad , I guess I was about 8 or 9. Super nice guy, shook my hand. He was a bigger than life figure. No comparison between him and Saban personality wise. I have always loved my tigers and though the Bear always kicked our azz I had this deep admiration and respect for him like no other.

It is true, sad fact of reality. Bama is going to get that extra inch, that one call that turns the game at least consistently. Most sec schools just except this fact, it is what it is. Not mad, just resigned.

Before all is said and done you will have the same degree of respect and admiration for Coach Saban, especially after he eclipses Bear's consecutive win streak over LSU.

Why aren't other fan bases complaining to the degree the LSU fan base does?

When does the SEC begin to favor another team? When Bama loses?
Alabama will always be the premier program in the SEC. Is this favoritism permanent?

Meet me and my husband at sonic.

On second thought let's meet somewhere else. I wouldn't want to tarnish the place that you propose to your cousin

I don't think they are "actively cheating" for Bama. I do think Bama gets "favorable" calls by refs but I believe it is a non conscious act.

I also believe Bama coaching staff and boosters are cheating on a higher level than other programs and it is "overlooked" by the NCAA more so than it would be at a lesser school.

What Saban has done at Alabama is unprecedented with the exception of the Bryant years (who was a known cheater and "rule bender"). I'm not saying that the cheating is the ONLY reason Bama wins like they do, but it is why they ALWAYS win like they do. No other program has ever been able to match it. Sorry, but that's just fishy.

No we won’t and you don’t get it. The Bear was a grandfatherly, John Wayne type figure that was gracious in loss and victory. No one that has ever seen both in real life would compare Saban with the Bear favorably. They are completely different and I’ll let you guess as to which one is more beloved. I say that with tremendous respect for Nick and what he did for LSU. I will always have a special place in my heart for the privilege of watching that 2003 game with my son. Saban is a fantastic coach but human being, not so much vs the Bear.

Do you believe CEO will resort to "higher level" cheating tactics to keep up with Bama?

You will kneel before Saban! Saban resurrected your moribund program and gave it it's first title in decades.

After the streak reaches double digits everyone will bow down before him.

I hope so. Of course, we saw what happened to Ole Miss when they did. Does Saban have the kind of pull to get the same done to a real program?
