Anchorman 2 was by far the worst sequel to me. They tried way to hard smh

I was a dumb kid of 11 or 12 when I saw it and even then realized how terrible it was. Even the boobs couldn't save it.

Well, there is a Jaws 4 (Jaws: The Revenge) and it was even worse. By the way, I was about to post a quick summary of the film, but I have gotten in trouble on this board before for spoilers (yes, even in movies that are over 20 years old). This one just sticks in my craw since Jaws is one of my favorite films of all time.

The first 2/3 of Anchorman 2 are funny. It's a great concept on how Ron Burgundy permanently ruined the news beyond repair, and it does ring true. It's just once you get to the Lighthouse does it go off a cliff.
Worst sequel for me is kind of a 3 way tie between Caddyshack II, Dumb and Dumberer, and The Last Jedi.

The fact that the entire plot revolves around an ice maker in Thailand is ridiculous. Anyone who has been to Asia will tell you that only luxury resorts have ice makers, and they were staying in a hell hole.

Jaws is one of those movies they should have stopped at the first one because it would never be topped. The great movies shouldn't have sequels.
Average movies that are entertaining but not great should get sequels. A good example is Tremors. Loved the movie as a kid. The sequels were just as good IMO as the first one. The series that scifi did that one year was pretty good as well

To answer the OP any sequel of Hellraiser after the 2nd one was awful.
Halloween 3 was terrible too. Completely random from the other 4 they did.

Highlander II might need to be on this list. Not that the first one was superb, but II was terrible.
