OU has been preparing for the Georgia run game for almost a month. They will load the box and force Georgia to beat them passing.
I say Georgia doesn't hit 200 rushing yards.
Georgia will have to pass for over 250 yards to win

So you don't think AUBURN - a superior defensive team, was loading the box versus GEORGIA in the SECCG?

Everyone calm down.
We all know the secret to beating UGA is stacking the box and making Fromm beat you.

No shite... It worked all year.

They ran for almost 7 YPC. Also, against a team that can't/doesn't pass you'd think you would be able to slow them down on the ground a bit, not give up 7 a pop. This compared to 5.7 vs Vandy, 3.6 vs Texas, 4.7 vs Kansas, 4.0 vs Texas Tech, 4.1 vs WVU, 4.4 vs Oklahoma St and 3.6 vs Iowa State.
I know you feel great about the Sooners, that is fine and even reasonable. But if you are going to really try and act like Georgia isn't in all likelihood going to run for a lot of yards at a high YPC clip against Oklahoma then............you live in a fantasy world.

Well OU held JT Barrett and dobbins to like 160 yds total....this board is in for a rude awakening thinking OU has no defense at all, it’s not elite but it’s not without top talent. Same thing Auburn thought last year...

Auburn was beat up from having to play Bama the week before.
OU has a month to prepare. If I'm the OU coaches, I would gladly give up yards through the air if Georgia can make them. I would do whatever it took to stop the run.

Auburn's offense last year post-Pettway injury sucked. Why do you guys keep referencing them? They were much better against Oklahoma than they were against Georgia, FYI.
vs Georgia : 164 yards, 3.0 YPP, 7 pts
vs Alabama : 182 yards, 4.0 YPP, 12 pts
vs Oklahoma : 339 yards, 4.6 YPP, 19 pts
That'd be like Georgia referencing beating TCU in the Liberty Bowl last year as some sort of comparison to 2017 Oklahoma.

The K-state game was a legit embarrassment. It's not like we haven't seen the wildcat before, but that's how we played.

Auburn sucked last year.
OU fans keep bringing them up like it was an accomplishment.
8-5 UGA beat them

This entire board was telling us Auburn had an all NFL front 7 and was going to run the ball down our throat with Pettway just like Georgia is saying now. Bama fans were predicting an Auburn win by 3TDs and you were all saying they were the best defense in the SEC last year and only finished 8-4 because of injuries and Mayfield would spend all game on his back.
When the big SEC domination didn't happen and Auburn lost big, you all shrugged your sad little shoulders and said Auburn wasn't very good, 8-4, inured QB etc., etc., etc., That's pretty pathetic SEC.....

I don't remember paying much attention to all that, so you could be totally right. However, Auburn sucked on offense last season w/o Pettway and especially without a healthy Sean White. They were abysmal. The stats from the 2 games preceding Oklahoma make that pretty clear.
Their defense was solid, though, so what Oklahoma did to them with their offense was certainly impressive.

I'm sure there is a prop bet in Vegas you could make. Put your money where your mouth is an post the ticket.

Yet a win over Auburn without a healthy Kerryon Johnson is "some big accomplishment"? Which is it? This is circle jerk reasoning.

8-5 is pathetic. No?

No. 8-5 SEC teams would win any other conference. Isn't that you people always say? Yes. Yes it is.

Wait, are changing years now? Auburn was much better on offense this year than last, and while a gimpy Kerryon Johnson clearly was a big difference in UGA-AU Round 1 vs Round 2, Jarrett Stidham is roughly 9,857 times better than Jeremy Johnson or Sean White with a broken throwing arm. 2017 Auburn w/o K. Johnson is a Top 15 team. 2016 Auburn w/o Sean White and Kam Pettway was a 7-5 type team. Not even in the same stratosphere.
Come on man. Oklahoma/Georgia is going to be a great game. Sorry, nobody believes Oklahoma is going to win 45-14, have 700 yards of offense and shut down Georgia's offense. I don't quite understand why you continue to act like that is an absurd, SEC homer opinion for people to take. It's what almost everyone in America thinks. Coin flip game, lots of offense, wild to the end.

Better than an 8-5 Auburn team.
But no. Auburn sucks. I never brag about beating Auburn because... it's auburn.
