8-5 SEC teams would win any other conference. Isn't that you people always say? Yes. Yes it is.

Wow. So you are admitting some deep rooted emotional disturbances.

I won't apologize for other fans hurting your emotional well being.
I won't offer you a safe place.
The best that you will get out of me is pity.

Pathetic.

Wait, are changing years now? Auburn was much better on offense this year than last

Were they? Wasn't the Sean White kid hitting 63% of his passes and Pettway racking up big yards on the ground until White got hurt? We were assured on here that they were an offensive machine until White got hurt and nobody could stop Pettway.

And nobody thinks OU will win 45-14. I certainly don't. That's just absurd.

Can you imagine basing all your arguments on what Board Ed, Germantown Tiger, Giant Leaf and Reel Gator said? Because that is basically what this is.

Yes, I am. Disturbed, delusional SEC fans and their ridiculous claims.

I mean, do you want to have a legitimate discussion about Auburn's 2016 offense?

They racked up huge chunks of yards against the worst defenses in the SEC during the middle of the season. Then, Pettway and Sean White got hurt and they were completely shut down against Georgia and Alabama. Would they have been better with Pettway and White? Maybe, but I don't think they would have been substantially better. White couldn't stretch the field and Pettway made his hay running through bad tackling teams. That worked against Ole Miss, State and Arkansas but it would not have worked against Georgia and Alabama.

However, those guys never came back healthy in 2016, and their offense completely revolved around Pettway and a semi-competent QB. Once White went out they had to turn to Jeremy Johnson and John Franklin. They had no shot. If they'd played the full season with Johnson and no Pettway they would have gone 6-6 or 7-5 at best. 2015 round 2.

Then what do you expect? Because your analysis sure hints at the general notion that Georgia is not in Oklahoma's league. Basically, Georgia won't stop Oklahoma and Oklahoma's defense is actually much better than stats/pundits think and will give Georgia problems. Am I wrong?

But every Aubie in here insisted Kerryon was healthy. Must have gotten injured during the SECCG.

If you are referring to Georgia the difference is Georgia then racked up big yards against a really good Auburn defense in the SECCG (one who played well against Alabama and Clemson). As I noted, 2016 Auburn was then shutdown by good defenses in the SEC at the end of the year. Also - Auburn was playing without their QB and RB. So, if Georgia loses Chubb/Michel/Swift/Fromm/Eason between now and Monday then I agree - they are in deep shite.

The reference should be to Alabama, which unfortunately I think has a very similar pattern to that 2016 Auburn team. Not as bad, but similar. If it continues we'll be done Monday.

I look for logos and all I saw was that Falcon's logo. Nothing else in your profile pic gives it away because I can't tell for certain who that is.

1999 Alabama Wide Receiver Coach Dabo Swinney in front of a lurking Shaun Alexander.
