So they have a man month to stop our run game but we can’t figure out how to stop Mayfield in the same time frame?
We heard the same things in '09 versus Tejas, can't stop McCoy. Now we still hear "If McCoy hadn't gotten hurt".

I don't think I would let that worry me one bit. And, if Mayfield gets injured, I will still take the victory. (Let it be known I hope nobody gets injured.)

Does Smart have that mean streak, sending someone to pop BM every play ?

Yes, they do it pretty often

Georgia is coming in with a big head

I'm gonna go 40 carries for 260 yards and 22 passes for 190 yards.

Haven't seen it. He does send Roquan on delayed blitzes to crush QB's, though. It sure looks like it hurts.

Man, all we heard from Auburn posters leading up to that game was y'all laughing at us for making excuses. So what does Auburn do? Make excuses.
I thought Kerryon was the only one that came into the game injured. And you guys said that it wouldn't matter, the game was played along the LOS and that is how it would be won.
How many players on your Oline and DLine were injured?
I don't remember.

Easy now, same argument could be had the prior week.

I'll say under. Say what you want about Mike Stoops, but he does a decent job slowing antiquated, 1950's style offenses. See Ohio State.

Injuries only count when it is Auburn injuries.

(a) Ohio State is not a 1950's style offense
(b) The offense closest to Georgia's that Oklahoma played all year was Kansas State. They ran for 268 yards on 6.38 YPC.

Amazing how antiquated offenses seem to win National Championships while wide open modern offenses stay home more often than not. Let's see....the BIG 12 actually made the playoffs this year, so I guess they will be out next year, again.

Yeah Gus and AU fans thought they had the SECCG in the bag, no matter the status of KJ. Thought UGA would come in w/ same gameplan and would just stone our running game. Georgia OC Jim Chaney called a GREAT game - made adjustments in both the running game with more outside runs, more screen passes to counter the AU passrush and the O-Line manned up. Defensively, UGA defended the short field and short passes and gave away very little cheap yards.
