He was a major player in the Stanford Financial scandal about 10 years back. Basically he was fired for asking questions, filed a wrongful termination suit which led to investigations which unveiled a massive Ponzi scheme. Now he thinks he's the world's greatest internet sleuth.

Whoa, hadn’t heard that one before. This dude’s story gets crazier every time I hear it. Never have really heard it start to finish, just pick up bits and pieces here and there. Have heard his wife left him for an Aggie, he tried to help the colts sue us over the 12th man, all kinds of stuff. But haven’t heard that one....
If he was really mixed up in the Stanford financial stuff then here is a link from an old texags post I saw where he supposedly was interviewed on Fox News. The link is old and from 2011 so I hear the audio playing but can’t see the video. Maybe one of you internet gurus can do better than me with it.
