Just had the first speechless AU fan come by my office. His frown (and his “but we beat ya’ll”) was delicious and filling. Another just came by to tell me, again, that “we beat you” to nothing but smiles and giggles. He left in disgust, mumbling something about cheering for Clemson. Those tears were especially yummy.

I may skip lunch today, I’ll probably be full.

You're getting better at this, but they beat the shite out of you and you're happy about it...sounds right.

Isn't Saban 0-7 against Auburn teams with 9 or more wins?

Even if you win the playoffs and bring home the National Championship , you'll always know we're better and beat you on the field. No matter what happens, you're not the best team in the country. Good luck.

I'm calling bullshite on all of that.
I haven't seen an Auburn fan yet that thinks like that about the playoff.

Pretty sure if we win the NC we are indeed the best team in the country. Especially beating Clemson who completely shut you down and Georgia who beat you 28-7 in the game that actually mattered.

Doesn't matter. You were shut down completely by Clemson and you lost the Georgia game that mattered in decisive fashion. We win out and we are the best team in the Nation and will get rings, parades, magazine covers and all that stuff while you will be at home watching on your 25" tube tv in your trailer.

Wait, didn't you lose to LSU who lost to Troy? Given your logic Troy > Auburn.

Is this what you're hung up on?

Yes, I was wrong when I expected consistency and honesty from the committee.

I'm OK with that.

So does this mean the same for LSU, since they beat you on the field. Since LSU stopped you from scoring the entire second half.

So does that mean LSU is a better team???

So AUB is 10-3, and LSU is 10-3 but LSU beat AUB. hmmm
