2 year bowl ban and 13 scholarships? They'll be back to mediocrity in a few years...

they already self imposed loss of 11. So 24 scholarship players down. Fbs talent

It appears the 13 is on top of the 11 already self imposed.
That plus free transfers for current players just turned them into a FCS team.

Scholarships loss is pretty bad when you consider that the '17 class was not very good and their current class sits in the 70s. Two year bowl ban means their players can transfer without sitting. Could've been worse tho.

No, 24 total. Ole Piss self imposed 11, NCAA gave 13 more.

Wrong. 13 total.
Check the other threads. Many reports are saying in addition.

They'll have to survive the onslaught of boosters and bagmen from other SEC schools. Time to feast.

It’s 13 total. And no show cause for Freeze.
The 2018 bowl ban was the biggest hit.
Most of our scholarship reductions have already been self imposed so we’re looking at a handful of scholarships and the transfers that will occur as a result of the 2018 bowl ban.

What reports are you referencing? We have university attorneys saying its 13 total. Your sources are other threads? Bravo.

So 2 yr bowl ban includes the one we've already served but the 13 scholarships doesn't include the ones we've already served?

No one is certain yet and probably wont know until after lunch. Is it this hard to decipher a ruling?

This is not nearly as bad as it could have been for Ole Miss right? Freeze is the big winner, and the Rebs will hemorrhage talent until after 2018, but after next year's season they will essentially be back to business as usual?

Can't pick and choose like that.
We'll find out at 11

Reports say that every coach gets a show cause. What happensto Luke? He was on staff.

Also, it'll take them a couple years to build back up after the sanctions end

There seems to be confusion over how many scholarships in total. Some sources are saying 13 in total, others are saying it's on top of the 11.
Either way, it sucks. We done.

Well they will have no good players and a bad coach. So yes that is Ole Miss back to usual.
