if we go down by 17 it's over. That means our defense has been on the field a lot. Our offense is unproductive. We lose if we get down by this much at any point.
This is the most complete and utter garbage I've seen on this website in a long, long time. And that's saying something.
Did you just start following football this morning? Perhaps only a few minutes before you wrote those words?

Do you think Bama will try and slow the game down like State did?
No. They have no reason to.
Bama will go at Bama speed, while always being able to go with the 2-minute offense as a change up.
auburn will run the hurry up if they're ahead of the chains or having just gotten a first down. They will go normal speed if behind the chains.

Correct. The transitive property doesn't apply to football or even sports as a whole.

How is it unproductive?

I agree, what a stupid arse statement. Our offense is the best in the conference and very good nationally. Complete garbage statement

Im fully expecting AU to score on their opening scrpited plays. I think it will by 10-0 or 14-0 AU midway in the 2nd quarter. Then, after the scripted plays Bama will take over and do Bama things and win the game.

I get why you think auburn could have some success with their scripted stuff. Fine.
But why do you think that Bama's offense, which is the best offense statistically in the SEC, will be held scoreless "until the middle of the 2nd quarter", which would be more than 1/3 of the game gone?
Ridiculous.

I don't start worrying about the score until after 3 possessions.
1st possession is like a basketball run. Just have to weather the storm and make adjustments.
2nd possession is like checkers. Adjustments made and now watching how each team reacts/counters.
3rd possession is where the chess match begins. Teams usually have settled in and the emotions have leveled off.
If Bama is down 17 or less, no worries. 21 or more then yeah, time to worry.
However I don't anticipate Bama being down by much, if any actually. I fully expect Bama to handle their business and be leading at the half....then hopefully putting the game away early 4th qtr.

Same. Its good comedy to see the first quarter melts in the game threads though.

I was sitting in a sea of LSU fans in Tiger Stadium in 2012, and I had a little, low mg xanax on me in the event of a loss, it would make the walk out of there easier. Before the game winning drive, I ate it, thinking that the last drive was going to go like the rest of 2nd half had gone. Needless to say, I was flying higher than eagle arse walking out of the stadium that night.

Don't ever stop what you're doing.
You let your Bammer flag fly high, no matter what the other kids say to you, big guy.

I think Hurts has his "coming out party" and is the clear MVP for this one.

it was the natural high from that game, mixed with Tigah tears, mixed with a benzo.

I can't argue against Hurts being the mythical MVP of this game. I literally believe his legs to be the key to victory, offensively.
But Hurts' "coming out party" is well in his rear-view mirror. I'm actually baffled at some Bama fans' continued viewing of one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in CFB as some make-do, sophomore, almost-liability. Hurts is the truth, and he 'came out' lonnnnnnnnnng ago. (no homo)

Yep, he has been progressing and I think he is definitely due. I don't think our offense has played it's best game, yet. Honestly, I think our team got up for a ton of stupid teams (e.g. Vandy) but I don't think they've played their best ball this year. Hopefully, they will for the next 4 games.
