CFP committee would Penn State us and let Bama pull an Ohio St before we ever could sneak in

If auburn somehow manages to beat UGA, Bama, and UGA there is zero chance in hell were left out.

What would suck is getting matched up with Bama in the 2/3 matchup

Can you imagine Amen corner back to back?

Auburn beats #1 UGA
Auburn beats #1 Bama
Auburn beats #4 UGA in SEC Championship
Auburn beats #1-4 Bama in first round of playoffs
Auburn beats #1-4 ? in National Championship game.

5 top 4 teams to finish the year. Would that be the greatest stretch in NCAA history?

It would require us to beat more top teams in a row than we have on the past like 3 years

Oh I didn't say it would happen. I would give the likelihood of it coming true about 1 in 10,000,000 since I am feeling generous.

IF that were to happen, I probably wouldn't ever watch CFB again. Nothing could top that.

I would be the greatest stretch of games ever. Wrecking two number 1 teams records, swiping the SEC championship from Bama, tying the series with UGA and crushing their chances at a natty, getting revenge against Dabo then capping it off with the mother of all Iron Bowls with the National Championship on the line.

fricking fantasy land shite right there

Yeah. Even if Bama was left out, we would then likely face OSU or OU. We just don’t have the 2’s to make a run like that.

ETA:

But like a Walt White said, “I am the one who knocks at the door.”

If we ran the table, the only thing left is for my alarm to wake me for work
