McElwain was a good coach in a bad situation. Hope he comes to Mizzou

McElwain was handcuffed at Florida. Ever since Tebow left they've had horrible quarterbacks. Kansas has more quarterback stability than UF since 2010. It's been nearly a decade since Floridas offense has been top 30.

McElwain was winning at CSU, and took the Gators to Atlanta twice. He's solid.

Florida is a terrible job these days, unless your a defensive coordinator.

McElwain is a huge upgrade over Odom. Not only will Mizzou win this Saturday, we'll also win the coaching search sweepstakes

Odom sucks, McElwain might do alright at a program with less pressure, but I think the SEC is just too much for him.

His job was to recruit good quarterbacks and improve the offense. He didn't do that.

You can have him, I'm holding out (and hopefully my ad is too) for someone who's not sec recycled.

He couldn't recruit at an elite level or win anything of note at Florida but you think he could at Mizzou?

Logical.

I'm not sure he's ready for Missouri.

PF had a UF beat writer on that said Mac basically had no interest being there. I could see him back at CSU in a few years.

Felipe has plenty of talent. They have to be coached up. If Mac is a good coach, qb can't be the problem. There's been too much volatility and probably most of it isn't his fault.

How many wins over SEC opponents?

I will give you credit for wanting him to coach your team. A lot of people on here stick up for him but they would be pissed he was actually their coach.

I would rather keep Odom and hire the DC Randy Shannon away from Florida!

Have we been?

Driskel and Brissett are playing on Sunday's.

Will Grier is a top 3 QB in the country.

Newton won a Heisman

So we have had elite QB's. Just BS has gone down with them, or a dumb coach tried to use them wrong(Drisk and Briss).

He lost 4 games every year at UF. Not a great coach.

Yes he is an upgrade. You administration can't handle his holier than thou personality though. Read the report from CSU reporter. He is a prick.
