And if so, could you tell him I said to shut the frick up?
I swear to God this guy is driving me insane with his excuse making. He goes on the midget's show and explains how he has no agenda, but then drones on and on for like half an hour (!!!) about how he was good in high school and knows what he is talking about. It's a goddamn joke and I'm sick of it. Grow up, Uncle Rico. The results speak for themselves! Amirite?

I like Mike, but totally disagreed with him yesterday.
He is on the Bret train hard. I think some of the media guys really like him on a personal level and it's hard for them to let go of that.

And that's fine. Just come out and say it. Don't tell me you're impartial and then go on for 47 minutes recollecting back to 1947 when you were good as a junior in high school and that explains all the problems with this current razorback team.
He comes across as having almost zero journalistic integrity. No matter how much he claims that isn't the case.
I'm not asking these guys to come straight out and call Bret a bum, but for f's sake he was trying to say there are no plans to remove this guy. Lol.

I can understand this, I've met Bret in person and he's a very likeable guy. Nobody wants to see their buddy get fired, especially when you would have to be dealing with his replacement on a daily basis.
Not to mention Bielema makes himself available for the press, which is a big help come deadline time. The next guy might be one of those coaches that releases the hounds every time he sees the press and responds to questions with only hate filled yes or no answers.

This is the big thing right here. I personally think Bret is an a-hole who puts on a good mask when he has to.

I don't know about a-hole, but 8 think he really knows how to work the media and pull the shade down over they're eyes. He lulls them into thinking he is something or someone that he is not.

Yep. I don't know Bert from Adam, but I also think people are getting too carried away with this "he's a great guy" stuff. He's good at self-marketing, but he's also shown himself to be quite the doofus publicly (e.g. getting into twitter wars with Wisconsin fans, acting like an arse to the Texas HS coaches conference, etc.).
That doesn't necessarily make him a bad guy or anything, but let's not act like he's Pope Francis.

Two things that I'd point to in regards to him being an a-hole. shite talking coaches of teams he played against in college is the BIG one. That shite is uncalled for. And allowing his team to dance on an opposing team's logo before the game. That shite is just stupid and pretty much set the stage for that absolute arse kicking we got at Auburn last year.

Aren't an awful lot of us the same? I tend to be I know.

I know for a fact I am. Nothing wrong with it. People should just be honest.

I like some of Mike Irwin's stories he tells about Arkansas of the past. His shtick about Bielema is definitely getting old quickly.

As long as someone's telling Mike something, tell him he's not fooling anyone with that hair and just needs to let it go.

Burt was drunk after the Auburn game.
Slurring his words etc.
This is going to blow up, and soon.

Drunk where? Press conference? Would already have blown up if true IMO.
Posted on 10/26/17 at 10:44 am to Rhames
Sounds like someone is making their move to get rid of him sooner than later, if true. If that "blows up", it will bring to light some other misdeeds, I'm sure.

Oh noes, the puritanical bible-thumper fans will be offended! There are other reasons to want him gone. Who cares if he enjoys a drink or three?
