Thanks Oracle , I had not realized that Henry has more yards per carry than Fornette until you posted this. Some things never change I guess.

quote:
Derrick Henry- 6 carries for 25 yards

4.17 yards per carry

Fornette 26 carries for 100 yards
3.85 yards per carry

So are bammers finally admitting that Fournette was far better than Henry in college?

I mean it's pretty clear to everyone not rooting for Bama or Arkansas dickriders

Phan is from Cleburne County, not Clanton.

Adrian Peterson had 6 carries for 18 yards in the same game. Peyton just doesn't know what to do with running backs, that's all there is to it.

Sounds like desperation trying to hang on to hope of any Bama back being relevant in the NFL.

Not a bad accomplishment for a mid tier SEC RB

That escalated quickly, are you always drunk? Or just a casual day drinker?

No one cares. Fournette > Yeldon
Obviously. Chris Ivory > Yeldon.

Not sure why we're pointing out obvious things

Only you apparently.

You're not bothered by your GOAT running back ended up with zero hardware, zero championships, and zero wins against Bama? Interdasting.

Because Saban can afford a better Oline at Bama.

Lots of great players dont beat Bama. Bama plays us harder than they play anyone anyway.
its disappointing that we havent won anything since 11. but i dont lose sleep over it.

He also had more rushing attempts than anyone else in modern history. I suppose that explains how his total yardage was so high with such a low ypc

Vs FBS Winning Record Teams

Henry 2015 (13 games)
5.63 YPC
28 carries per game
161 yards per game
1.93 TD per game

Fournette 2015 (9 games)
5.78 YPC
25 carries per game
146 yards per game
1.78 TD per game

Vs Ranked Teams

Henry 2015 (7 games)
5.19 YPC
29 carries per game
150 yards per game
2.14 TD per game

Fournette 2015 (4 games)
4.64 YPC
25 carries per game
117 yards per game
1.00 TD per game

As was established in time and memorial, Fournette averaged 8.82 YPC vs 3 non-winning record teams. That's fine, but it's also empty. Henry had 52 yards and 4.00 YPC in our only game against a non-winning FBS team (ULM). All his yards were against teams that mattered.

Against ranked teams D-Henry averaged 5.2 YPC, 150 YPG and 2.14 TD/game. He was a legend, and rightfully so.

Fournette was and is a great player. Henry was the catalyst to a team that won the national championship based on massive performances on the biggest of stages.
