Malzahn would be owed $2,237,500 per year remaining on his contract if Auburn were to part ways with him.

That would be 6,712,500 over 3 years.

Heres some guys i would like Auburn to consider if things keep going bad on offense.

Bobby Petrino
Dan Mullen
PJ Fleck
James Fanklin
Justin Fuente

I'll start a GoFundMe account now if that's what it takes.

You can't have Fleck. He is destined for LSU if Aranda doesn't get the gig.

Looks like Dan Mullen is your new coach.

I feel like gus just needs a few more seasons to get it together. Can't really judge him before his 20th season. Don't be so impulsive.

By then his boobies will need an assistant to keep from dragging on the field.

None of those potential candidates are going to join the SEC West with Nick Saban at Bama unless they get paid 2x a realistic salary.

If Jay Jacobs does the hiring, it will likely be a former Auburn assistant coach

I don't understand why you even made this thread?

Everyone knows Auburn is about to go on a 4 game win streak, where your offense will look great and all will be well with CGM.

You're not getting Franklin. He's doing well at a program even more blue-blooded than Auburn. I suspect that, while the fans might not mind, the administration wouldn't bring Petrino back to the SEC. Fuente is a possibility, though it's a question whether he'd jump ship from VT so soon. Honestly, I wouldn't get excited about Fleck, myself. Now Mullen...that could be an interesting process. Auburn beats MSU in terms of prestige, and gives him a better chance to go to the upper echelons, but isn't his dream job supposedly UF? Though that is just speculation AFAIK.

Have fun "considering" him. Please tell me what Auburn can offer that PSU can't?
