On the way back to our Airbnb the song Taking Care of Business came on. I just laughed. It's all I could do not to grab the wheel and drag us off the freeway.

The scary thing is that, for some people, it HAS TO in order to get rid of Kevin Sumlin's fecal touch.

If he's allowed to coach for 83 days knowing that he will be fired, he could cause even more damage to the program since he's a spiteful cunt.

Depending on the contract structure, firing him now vs firing him in December could cost us a couple of Million dollars.
Quite frankly, I can do nothing but laugh now. Somebody call Bob Stoops and tell him he can have full control of the program. I'd prefer now, but I'd be ok with this happening in December as well.

Stoops ain't happening, so get that dumb idea out of your head now.
He left a far better situation at OU, BECAUSE HE WANTED TO. Don't blame him for not wanting to have a heart attack on the field like his dad did. He got his one natty, plenty of big 12 championships, take your money and maybe do some analyst work. He's got plenty of money, and will probably live longer now.
He's not coming.

Agree that Stoops ain't coming here. Let the season play out so we can evaluate candidates. No doubt you make Chris Peterson and Gary Paterson tell us no.
IF DJ Durkin continues to kick that arse like he did to tu, he deserves a serious look. PJ Fleck and Brent Venables as well.

I'd throw the kitchen sink at Chris Peterson and at least make him tell us no.
