Maybe because under Coach O last year, LSU destroyed everybody except Bama and Florida. Lost to Florida by 1 yard. Bama score was 0-0 into the 4th. New OC might be an upgrade. There you go.

In short, recruiting. Most are optimistic about the offense, which has really been the only glaring issue with LSU since 2011.
