Bama would still be dominating. One game isn't going to change that.

There is a good chance that he would be. The psychological effect that events of 2011 had on Les Miles and the LSU program aren't known because the can't really be measured. Who is to say that if OSU had won and faced LSU and LSU had blown them out that it wouldn't have sparked a dynasty for LSU?

What if West Virginia hadn't lost in 2007? Would Les Miles have even made it to 2011?

You know, contrary to popular belief on here...there's no guarantee that LSU would've beaten Oklahoma State.

LSU would have had the 2011 title but I see everything else pretty much playing out the same. Miles may have earned himself an extra year or so on the back of a second title but the direction of those two programs wouldn't have been fundamentally altered by that title.

Miles would have continued to be Miles and Saban as Saban. We'd be pretty much exactly where we are today in respect to the condition of the programs.

Les would probably still be here but he would be even more hard headed than he already is. We'd have at least 2 more really frustrating Les seasons left.

How different would the programs be if 8 Human Poll voters in the BCS hadn't DROPPED Oklahoma State from 3rd......to 5th or 6th, """"AFTER"""" they destroyed Oklahoma to win the Big 12 title?
How different would the programs be if those voters hadn't IGNORED the BCS rules and the BCS administrators IGNORED the supposed agreed upon criteria - which included Strength of Schedule, or IGNORED the prevailing thought that if Oklahoma State DID destroy Oklahoma, they would jump Alabama by virtue of the AGREED UPON BCS CALCULATION CRITERIA - which included strength of schedule.
NOT TO MENTION - that Oklahoma State was a conference champion, and alabama was the THIRD PLACE TEAM in their conference (Georgia and LSU played for the SEC Title.)
How different would the programs be if the BCS HAD NOT allowed
"""""""""""""" T H E......M E D I A """""""""""""
to decide who should face 13-0 #1 ranked SEC Champ LSU in the NCG.
Because that's what happened. The media wanted a
DO-OVER, A MULLIGAN, A REPLAY.

No excuses. Biggest travesty in the history of sport.

And for the ala-shame-a fans who dismiss all the above as "he mad", or "boo hoo hoo" or "we were the best team", etc, etc,
SORRRRRRRYYYY - them's the FACTS. That's how it happened.
alabama did """"""""""""""" N O T """"""""""""""" belong in that game, nor did they deserve to, no matter how much Saban cried at halftime of the SECCG, no matter how much the media wanted a do-over.

That was criminal what was done to OSU and LSU.

Yes, Miles would still be at LSU.

Yes, Bama would still be right where they are now.

My guess is that LSU fans would still be upset with Miles lack of beating Bama, but those 2 Natoinal Titles would make it impossible for anyone to fire him.
