122-6 vote to advance the bill.
If one of these six are your neighbor, consider making Rover and Fluffy indoor pets:
Trent Ashby, R-Lufkin
Trent is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics.
Ernest Bailes, R-Coldspring
Following his graduation from Texas A&M, Bailes founded his company, Repro Select, an advanced reproductive services provider for cattle and whitetail deer producers across the south-central United States.
John Cryer, R-Lockhart
John is a 1995 graduate of Texas A&M University, where he served as Commander of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band.
John Raney, R-College Station
He is a member of the Texas A&M Class of 1969, graduating with a BBA in Marketing. While in college, John founded Texas Aggieland Bookstore, which has now been in operation for forty-six years.
Gary VanDeaver, R-New Boston
Though born in Grimes County, Texas, VanDeaver was reared on a cattle operation near Clarksville in Red River County in northeast Texas and graduated in 1977 from Clarksville High School. He holds a doctorate obtained in 1996 in professional education from Texas A&M University–Commerce.
James White, R-Hillister
White is a native Texan born in Houston, TX. He attended Houston ISD public schools before graduating with honors from Prairie View A&M University (member of the Texas A&M University System) in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.

That's one of the next moves for the sickos. Sex with and marry your animal, if you want to.
Wonder if they'll allow you to marry more than one?

Texas also has the largest number of dropouts from Taxidermy schools in the nation.
It seems that "mounting animals" was not what they'd hoped when they enrolled.
