Looks like the CB's are starting to roll in for 4* LB and teammate of Martavius French, Bryson Eason. If this happens and Darin Turner eventually commits, people are saying these will definitely help us in getting big time Memphis DT Omari Thomas.

French is a damn fine pickup, that could really help with Memphis recruiting. Taking them out Ole Miss backyard would definitely have advantages.

Yea, both Ole Miss insiders on 247 put in CB’s for Arkansas including the infamous Ole Miss homer Yancy, so have to feel good there.

Says hard commit. Don't know why people aren't appreciating this... assuming it's true.

EDIT: Seems i misunderstood, and though French just committed. My apology.

Our staff was on him strong until a couple months ago when he has a (handler?) making the decisions for a group of players and looking for more than a scholarship.
We aren't making a donation to that organization only to be "in the running".

Back mid July rumors from this guardian had those 5 transferring to Ravenwood so he's been shopping them around for a while.
He's not a home-grown kid and he hasn't played in Arkansas to this point. This is creative transferring in 2019.
A group of 5 players chose to cross the river because they were ruled ineligible (TSSAA transfer rules) for this season after transferring in Memphis zones from Freedom Prep to Memphis Central. They are using the homeschool rule to try to legally play football at WM without attending the school.
22 QB Tevin Carter, 21 DL Terry Carter, 21 DE Renard Gwynn and 22 DB Tamerius Bell have also transferred to WM.

Magnolia QB Terry Lambert is walking on as an athlete. Anyone know anything about him? Looks like he was a 3* on 247 but only had DII offers due to his size (only 5'9).

He runs a 4.45 laser time, so he's certainly got speed at least.

Memphis 4* ATH Darin Turner commits.
He's listed as WR by most recruiting services but we could be play him at WR or possibly S.

One heck of a way to start the defense of three straight titles for Highland Park HS, which beats Rockwall 66-59 tonight in an instant classic. QB Chandler Morris (son of Arkansas @coachchadmorris) led Scots with 654 yards of offense (474 pass, 180 rush) and nine (9!!!) TDs.
