Won't release a kid that wants out. Honestly, it seems his dad forced him to sign at State and the kid wants out. Real messy situation and coach holding him hostage to the LOI is not a good look. Why would someone want a kid at a program that doesn't want to be there. Is it because he is a 4*C?

Good learning opportunity for the young adult.

No surprise, that whole AD has always been shady and dirty.

This is my question, why in the world would you want a kid around who clearly doesn't want to be there....seems like ole Ben Howland is feeling the heat to win and win now.

Except his dad said multiple times that it is 100% Michael's decision. I know you're trolling Ags, but Jr been recruiting pretty damn hard for the ZOU. ;)

Because the kid does want to be there. His parents went through a really messy divorce and his mom doesn't want Garrison anywhere near his dad because she hates him so much. He wasn't released because he asked to be released to Auburn which interestingly enough, wasn't one of his finalist.

Also, I have heard reports the kid actually cried after signing his LOI at his announcement.
Wierd stuff.
Wierd stuff.

Well that may change the Aubbies opinion that said he should have to sit out a year....

He wants to be there yet applied for a release? That's an interesting angle. Didn't he say now he's appealing this and if it doesnt work just going to a prep school?
Certainly doesn't sound like a kid that wants to be there. Sounds like a kid whose dad wanted him there badly and now he's regretting his decision.

Well our insiders interview him and he told them that he was fine playing for state but that he also wanted to appease his mom. It's a very weird situation and things like this with bad parent relations and parents trying to control the recruitment usually are. Obviously we aren't going to release him to Auburn.

Why would it? We're loaded at 4 so there's be a solid he'd sit a year and redshirt here anyway.
And I'm not sure what you're talking about anyway. I've never heard anybody say that before

Yes, exactly. Other than Ole Miss we are probably best qualified to comment on the dirtiness of State since they tried to frame us for their own failed P4P scheme

He cried at his announcement because his mother refused to attend because she didn't agree with his decision. But I'm not surprised that you'd make uneducated comments being a Mizzou fan and all.
