There are no "SEC" refs. Just college refs.
A n SEC game may be referreed by a crew that will do an ACC game the next night.

This. In fact two of the refs (at least) from the Arkansas/Seton Hall game I recognized as regulars among SEC games.

The conference still dictates the rules that are enforced and how heavily. That's why conference officiating differs.

So the SEC doesn't have its own basketball refs any more? They definitely used to.
