I think the answer for Alabama is pretty obvious.

The 2010 Alabama Crimson Tide backfield:

1. Mark Ingram
2. Trent Richardson
3. Eddie Lacy

Worst team of the Saban era (not counting 2007, obviously)

I feel like listing McFadden, Jones, and Hillis doesn't give that backfield justice without listing Houston Nutt as well.

1987 Oklahoma State

1. Thurman Thomas
2. Barry Sanders
3. Gerald Hudson

In 1990, Thurman led the AFC in rushing, Barry led the NFC in rushing, Hudson was 2nd in the NCAA in rushing

to be fair, Hudson didn't get a carry that year as a freshman

For Ole Miss I'd probably go with 2000.
.
Deuce McAllister
Joe Gunn
Charles Stackhouse

.. or you could go with '07 or '08 with Brandon Bolden and Dexter McLuster, but those are the only names I truly remember so its not a trio til you add another one of our shitty RB's from those years.

Also I'm sure some older OM fans will go back to the 60's-70's RB's, but TBH I don't really consider them relevant today.

I don't know about a trio but there is a cool story in SC history.

Essentially, we didn't have a 1,000 rusher until 1975. However, Kevin Long snapped that drought vs Wake Forest to become our first ever 1,000 yard rusher.

Our 2nd ever 1,000 rusher? Came just a week later vs Clemson by Clarence Williams.

So we never had a 1,000 rusher, but then had 2 in the same season.

Long finished the season with 1,133 yards on 190 carries. Williams ended with 1,073 on, appropriately enough, 190 carries.

Not sure who the third string RB was on that roster, but I guess that trio would be up there for us.

Alabama 1991:
Siran Stacy
Derrick Lassic
Kevin Turner
Sherman Williams
David Palmer

All five drafted (3 second round, 1 third round, 1 fourth round). Turner had probably the best NFL career and became quite a beloved and inspirational figure during his battle with ALS. Stacy also managed to turn his life around after unspeakable tragedy.

The rich man's problems and you'll trying to figure out your best trio. Some fanbases just try and find ONE SEC quality back each year, much less three at one time

Good backs, but that 2010 yr was the least productive rushing yr under CNS... with exception of maybe 2007.

I liked the Lacy, Yeldon, Drake backfield, last year's Harris, Scarborough, Jacobs (hurts) backfield, and even the Yeldon, Henry, Drake backfields better in the Saban era.
