Raw Oysters - I think people like the experience more than the actually food.

Not a fan of raw oysters either. Now oysters rockefeller or rolled oysters I can do.
Cabbage. The people I know who eat it absolutely love it. About the only way I eat it is when it's raw and shredded into a slaw/salad. And it fricking reeks when you cook it.

Agree with the oysters bit. It's a ritual with the horseradish etc.
Caviar. Salty smear of crap.
Onions in general.
Grits suck.

No, I enjoy the hell out of the actual food. Just not the gamble of catching Hep C.
ETA: Guacamole

Fried catfish.
I'd rather just have fried chicken.

Your life sounds miserable.

I didn't care for catfish until I had it in Mississippi at the SO's uncle's place. Was ridiculously good.

I can eat six dozen oysters in a sitting.
For me, things I don't get the love for are fried chicken, fried catfish, fried okra, most things fried.
Also, potato salad, egg salad, any other weird salad that doesn't involved leafy greens and dressing.

Kale.
If you like Kale chips you don't like Kale. You like oil and salt.
Grits- texture usually never gets to me, but I can't do grits.
Water chestnuts- again texture and bland.

Raw oysters are good, but chargrilled are 10x better.

Sounds like someone needs to teach you how to peel properly. I spend a summer working as a boiler (did it personally for years) and I found a lot of people turning away from Shrimp, crawfish, and crabs because of the "work", but I think it makes it taste that much better.

Love both.
I don't like coffee, not a huge fan of pizza, greens, Chinese or Mexican food

Do you like licking the kitty?
Some say there is a correlation.
