There was some talk that Humphrey was a sure first round pick before the game. Do y'all still see that as the case?

He has likely already received his draft grade, but I wonder if this game gave scouts some pause.

How many passes did he give up?

I don't remember him having that bad of a game. A lot of their WR catches were perfect throws and circus catches.

I thought both he and AA28 played pretty solid ballgames. Williams had a few incredible catches, Leggett had some catches behind the 2nd level and lil whitey beat Brown repeatedly, but I thought AA and Hump played well.

Most scouts/gms will probably see past some of his bad play and fall in love with his potential combine numbers. I still think he will get a 1st round grade, because the CB pool isn't great this year.

I don't see him as a first rounder but I'm not sure about the DB class. Averett arguably was better this season.

Pretty sure their screen pass was the longest reception given up.

Yep - Williams had a few big plays and Leggett had 1 or 2, but all but 1 of those were just great throws and even better catches.

He shouldn't be a first day pick.

He struggles to cover, easily beat and had been all season.

Besides Tony Brown he was the big weakness in our secondary Monday.

That was the biggest turning point of the game IMO. They weren't doing jack shite against us until that play. Opened the flood gates for sure. And you are right, that is a played we always defend well.

#26 got abused. Watch it again. He actually contested very few balls and really looked lost against Williams. I'd be absolutely amazed if he's a 1st day pick.
The Averette kid actually played pretty well.

Humphrey needs another year in college and he could be a top ten pick next year.

Hump needs another year..but his potential is through the charts. They will draft him early and try to develop. Anyone of our DBs that have gone pro will say that our coaching style doesn't relate to the NFL on DB's. He will learn a totally new technique in the NFL.

I'm pretty sure Humphrey only gave up one catch against Williams on the jump ball late in the game. Williams was eating Averett up all game.

Williams showed why he's an elite WR on a lot of those balls. He dominated with his size like a Dez Bryant or Brandon Marshall.

Felt bad for AA, was legit nothing he could do about his size when the ball came that way...

...Exactly. I think some of yall are getting the two mixed up. 26 shut his man down all game. Averett was getting abused out there to the point of it being no contest. They were just throwing it up, knowing that Averett couldn't get it

No AA was covering his guy he just got beat once or twice. Hump was consistently in trouble. He couldn't shake a block for those screens either

Only reason he is rated by some on here is because of who his father is, where he is from and his high school star rating.

AA was much better than him all year long.

It is akin to saying Tony Brown is better than Minkah. Reality is TB can't cover for shite.

I'd be surprised if he received a 1st round grade.

I really hope he comes back. Humphrey is not a first round CB and I really think he'll struggled badly at the next level if he leaves.
