Unless you are an Alabama fan, they are meaningless. Watching them is a waste of 3 1/2 hours of valuable time that could be spent doing something useful!

Not surprising that a Kentucky fan would hate watching bonus football.

Why is a bowl game any less important than a regular season game? After a team loses two (or maybe three) games, none of their games matter in terms of the national championship, so is it a waste of time to watch them?

It's like the grand finale of football. Enjoy it! We're about to be without it for months.

It's just entertainment, so if you enjoy it, how's it a waste of time?

I'm sure the institutions that get the extra revenue the bowls bring enjoy them.

It will help you forget the pain of an option team rushing for over 400 yards against you on NYE

Splitting the bowl revenue with 13 teams will be fine.
