That's a tough one.
There's no doubt Orgeron can recruit. I think both would be fine if they took the Tubberville route and actually let the assistants do their jobs.

I'd take Kiffin over O any day.
Still, O is surrounding him with a better staff than the current one, and he's always going to bring in top classes. If fatty lost by 28 at home this season, then what does that say about fatty?

Would you hire Bert or Curley Hallman (the worst coach in LSU history)?
They both have 10 SEC wins after four years.
LSU fired Curley after four years because he only won 10 SEC games. Arky fans still think he needs more time to build this team.

Yeah, Arkansas is the last school I'd take hiring advice from. i highly doubt there's ever been a program in any sport that's missed on so many hall of fame coaches in their backyard

I honestly would not take Bert over Coach O.
Coach O took a broken team into Fayetteville AR. and beat them like Redheaded stepchildren,and Bert looked like he was in shock.
I could tell he was thinking...Oh shite...they have a coonass coaching now...no more will I get to play an unmotivated LSU team.

I agree with you, as shown above.
But nah, fatty is involved with this. I've seen the mental gymnastics the OP goes through on the hog board to defend fatty. I'd take Yaw with his cheap contract or Lane over Fatty and his fat buyout any day Plus this was fatty's perfect opportunity to beat Yaw.
