I doubt White plays.
Not sure they will blow us out.
Bama beat us by 18.
I guess we could get blown out, but I expect a close game.

Gonna need Pettway at 100% and White at close enough to 100% to be fairly productive passing. AU will need to sustain drives, chew up clock and reduce OUs possessions. Without a passing threat OU can load the box and scheme stunts/run blitzes to help them contain AUs run game. AU's D is great, but OU has a really good balanced offense.

Mayfield and Westbrook are great... but the key will still be stopping Perine/Mixon in the run game. I'm sure we'll give up some big plays, especially in through the air... but if we're getting gashed by their RBs, we got little to no shot.

Mayfield is like a very poor man's version of JFF in that under pressure he runs around in circles like a chicken with his head cut off, except he's not nearly as fast, quick, or athletic as JFF, doesn't have NFL top 10 draft picks giving him all day, and sure as hell doesn't have Mike Evans bailing him out.
Manziel ran a 4.68 40 yard dash. That's neither "fast" nor "quick". I can assure you that Mayfield is faster than 4.68. He's every bit as athletic, faster, and a better passer.
I'll concede that he doesn't have a "Mike Evans to bail him out". He has an actual Heisman candidate to bail him out.

Not enough people looking at the OL and DL in this game. Auburn has a huge edge on both sides of the LOS. OU has been pushed around by every team with competent talent on the LOS. I think AU will run the ball down OU's throat from what I have seen from there front 7. Even with AU's improved Defense, OU has elite skill guys that will put pointsome on the board. This game will look like the AU/OM game. AU wins 38-31

So did Tennessee and Alabama. How'd that turn out?

How many 7th year Seniors does OU have on the OL?

AU gave up an average of 24.5 points to two Playoff Teams . How did OU do against their one?

Auburn also lost to an 8-4 and a 7-5 team. How many of those kind of mediocre teams did OU lose too?

Wasn't aware OU played Bama and UT this season. And no AU will not show OU how the SEC does it because no one in the SEC runs the ball 77% of the time with a 250 lb RB. It really just comes down to the ability of OU to stop AU from running it's power scheme right over the OC and OGS. I don't think OU will stop that from what I have seen.

Are you implying that Auburn had an advantage on the OL and DL against UT and Bama? Because we didn't play UT and Bama has a better OL and DL than just about everyone.

Your rush defense ranks on par with Ole Miss, Texas A&m, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State. We rushed for 200+ against all 4 of those teams. No idea if we will have a healthy enough QB to have a competent passing game or if our defense can defend that passing attack all 4 quarters but I feel pretty confident we will be able to run it down your throat with great success

both will play. Pettway should be 100% by then. SW may not be 100% unless he gets his shoulder operated on, but he'll be as healthy as he has been since the Ole Miss game.

Repeat after me: "auburn has nothing, and is nothing." Do this 100 times per day and the football season won't be as disappointing.
