OU brother in law wants bet me on the spread that they will kill Auburn. I actually think they will but want to see if White and Pett will play before I make the bet.

If you had to guess, what do you think? Still have almost 4 weeks

Don't think either team will "blow out" the other.

OU has the potential to blow out Au if White is not playing.

Pettway will most likely play, but White is a toss-up. Gus has said he will be ready for the bowl game, but take that with a grain of salt. Multiple sources have reported he's done for the year.

My gut tells me that about a week before the bowl game, Gus will come out and say White needs more recovery time and won't play...and he'll yet again find a reason to play JJ.

Pettway is definitely playing barring any unforseen circumstances. Gus has said he expects White to play, but he's full of shite about injuries.
OU won't kill us even without them because of our defense.

Auburn statistically does well in bowl games that aren't at 11 a.m.

At the moment, I am leaning Auburn in this game - with or without Pettway and White.

Pettway will play. No idea on White... The 2 previous times he has come back to play after injury (Memphis 2015, UGA 2016) he has looked terrible because he wasn't 100%. So even if he does he might not be full go.

With that said we should be able to run on them so I think the game will be close from that standpoint. Oklahoma's defense is built to stop the 3-5 wide spread attacks and not so much against power run. Ohio State rushed for almost 300 yards while Texas almost hit 200.

As others stated, pretty sure Pettway will play.

I think the running game can keep AU in the game.

However, no one seems to know the extent of White's injury --- so that is the big question. Without him, we literally have no one who can throw the ball (to the players on our team).

If it comes to that, I say play JF3 the entire time. That might shut up fans who think he is a really good passer.

Yeah but they have to call some passing plays for him to for us to figure that out.

JFIII has been held back all season by the coaches in a recruiting tactic to attract Stidham. Once he is signed Gus will unleash Nick Marshall light on Oklahoma.

Piss on having him pass. Put KJ and Pettway back there with him and run the triple option

Can't do much worse than we did with JJ.

Y'all do have a. Wry good defense but if Alabama wore them down in the second half and pulled away why do you think Oklahoma will be different. If y'all can't move the ball on offense it will get bad I'm afraid.

Alabama had one of the best if not the best defenses in the country. Oklahoma does not.

Why? Alabama is much better than Oklahoma.

Not offensively we're not. At least not with Kiffin calling the plays. Alabama has the OL to run the ball between the tackles and he refuses to do it. Baker Mayfield is a better performing QB than Hurts is at this point in his career. I don't think Mayfield is as turnover prone as Hurt is but maybe I'm wrong. I think and hope Auburn wins but if White doesn't play I'm afraid it will get ugly.

Ummmm Oklahoma ain't no Bama, bud. Not even close.

What made a huge difference for Bama is that Hurts remained unphased by pressure and he had some great WRs helping him out with huge plays. Mayfield is like a very poor man's version of JFF in that under pressure he runs around in circles like a chicken with his head cut off, except he's not nearly as fast, quick, or athletic as JFF, doesn't have NFL top 10 draft picks giving him all day, and sure as hell doesn't have Mike Evans bailing him out. Look at what any team that can provide pressure does to him and then think about what's going to happen with Lawson, Adams, and Davidson after him
