Gone as in announced by LSU as their next OC, or gone as in no longer on Alabama's staff?

I'm hearing at this time he will leave for LSU more to follow

Hey Boz. Please make the title more descriptive.

No problem hopefully that works

Is it mutual or Lane bolting on his own? There is no way, from an AD or President standpoint, this looks good for his "image" that is currently being rehabilitated.

What a shitty thread title.

interdasting post from tRant
FWIW. What's been happening the last 5 days.
Sark had more input at halftime of Iron Bowl than the OC, hence the adjustments, hence a better performance. Kiffin was limited by the head coach on playcalls based on Sark input...he was told what to call.
Kiffin was told today after practice that he needed to look elsewhere after the season and that he'd be let go, but was asked to stay until the last game. Kiffin then informed Alabama that he's leaving after Saturday.
Behind the scenes Sark is generally viewed by the staff in Tuscaloosa as an upgrade from Kiffin.
Saban, not Kiffin, brought Sark to Tuscaloosa.

Is that even legal?
Could be totally true, but seems very convenient to me.

Yea, I'd still like to hear what exactly the hell is going on to make Saban ok letting Kiffin walk to our division rival. My assumption is personal issues, but nothing specific seems to be leaking out. Boz?

I believe it. I saw this on another website from a dude who seems well connected saying the exact same thing.
