Losses at florida and Bama

Its unfortunate that Florida and the SEC screwed us with the hurricane deal, but it is what it is.

8-4 or 9-3. Get ready for another underwhelming year...

I would take 9-3 right now. 10-2 is probably the ceiling as the road slate is too brutal. Too many question marks right now with coaches to say for sure.

What scares me the most is the almost criminal laxity of Miles' recruiting at the linebacker position. People will be talking about us missing Fournette next year. This year's MVP and the guy we won't come close to replacing is MLB Kendall Beckwith.

quote:

Sept. 2 BYU at Houston - 34-21 WIN
(Rumblings of Guice for Heisman)

Sept. 9 UT-Chattanooga - 48-10 WIN
(Guice finishes with 4 TDs and 212 yards, LSU fans ejaculate)

Sept. 16 at Mississippi St. - 30-24 WIN
(Momentum really picks up for LSU O supporters, bitter clashes with NegoTigos)

Sept. 23 Syracuse - 41-24 WIN
(Etling is once again the best QB in the SEC, and if you don't believe it, just ask any LSU poster and they'll tell you how wrong you are)

Sept. 30 Troy - 45-16 WIN
(There is no stopping the momentum behind Coach O and LSU fans. They take over the rant every day talking about how hiring coach O was the best thing to ever happen to them).

Oct. 7 at Florida - 20-14 LOSS
(Pandemonium. Half the LSU fans argue that they still control their own destiny and Guice can still win the Heisman, other half already demands that O be fired)

Oct. 14 Auburn - 28-14 LOSS
(Bedlam. Split becomes 25-75 positiger/negatiger)

Oct. 21 at Ole Miss - 44-21 WIN
(Resurgence of Heisman campaigns, playoff aspirations)

Oct. 28 Open

Nov. 4 at Alabama - 21-7 Loss
(Immediate call to fire Coach O from 90% of fanbase)

Nov. 11 Arkansas - 35-24 WIN
(Barely changes anything, Coach O is the worst)

Nov. 18 at Tennessee - 42-24 WIN
(Coach O is the greatest)

Nov. 25 Texas A&M - 28-21 LOSS
(Game over man.)

8-4 Overall

6-6 lose 5 SEC games, one OOC.

Losing the entire starting lineup and goodly portion of two-deep is tough to overcome. No LBs, no OL, new secondary, suspect DL depth ... yikes. Add in 5 road trips in the SEC... gonna be a tough year. But the following year, 2018, could be better...

Well, I think L6u will be a mediocre team next year. Depends on a lot of unknown factors , QB, OC, DC, players leaving early and etc. Really to early to be certain. Think 3-5 losses- @Bama for sure is a loss. Then , @UF, @UT, @ MSST and Au all could be losses. Who knows at this point.
