Terrieble if that's what happended. Still it dragged that long because Florida did not handle it well earlier; so it goes back to Florida's AD.
Still like I said before, Alleva in the aftermath did not handle it all that well either. So no one really comes out smelling like roses here.
And I agree with this. I wish they played the game in Gainesville the weekend it was supposed to be played. I'm not sure why LSU fans are mad when it's clear in the aftermath that if it was up to LSU, this game would not have been rescheduled. Florida was proactive in rescheduling the game and LSU did everything they could to throw a fit about the game bejng in Gainesville as scheduled.

Awe, you poor validation seeking pansy, I'll pray for you.

And if there's a hurricane in La., that's exactly what LSU will do. Just as it did in 2005.
That's Foley should have done. And that's why the game is being played in Baton Rouge. And why you get an extra home game next year.
So please, shut it.
UF players, coaches are not angry about this because they know they got over. LSU is and they will wreck you on Saturday. You're crying or your article by a cable repairman doesn't change that.
Thanks,

So LSU was supposed to have Senior Day on November 5th?
LSU was supposed to play 3 road games in 12 days?
LSU was supposed to play 3 road games in 12 days?

This is true. But the problem was that the SEC would not allow the game to be pushed back once Thursday rolled around. It sycks and it's not ideal but it's how it worked out.
You're right. The SEC wanted the headache of having two of its teams cancel OOC games, and invite the potential of canceling them altogether.
LSU was offering options like playing the game on Sunday much earlier in the week. This is why LSU will RUTS the score on you.

I think so too. I would've been more pissed if the game was moved to Baton Rogue then we had to play in BR again next year
??? Thanks for wasting time then with this ridiculous post.

Because Foley played LSU like a fiddle.

No, the fact that your team is garbage means that LSU is going to beat the shite out of UF.
Deal with it.

Florida fans have been giving A&M a run for the money lately.

Simple, because LSU told the SEC and UF to move the game to Baton Rouge.
Yeah, and all it did was frick L6U over. You'd have been better off playing the meaningless game in the Swamp.

I will never understand why this game was moved to Baton Rouge.
1. the game could have been rescheduled for that same weekend, but it wasn't due to Florida
2. LSU had the leverage from a negotiation perspective:
Florida always had a better chance of playing for the SEC championship game than LSU. The guaranteed revenue of a home game was worth more than the off chance that LSU beats out Alabama, Auburn and A&M for a spot in the SEC championship.
For the reasons above, UF caved and LSU didn't ... it's not that hard to understand

Yes, and if you didn't want to you're a bunch of "scared pussies" according to members of your fan base

Outside of tRant, the whole country looks at LSU and their administration as the bitch arse cry babies they are.
Story by a Gator reporter on a UF team website on a lower tier media... Yep, I would call that "the whole country"

and every other school in the conference answer to Alabama and Florida.
yeah, we're answering to you so hard you're coming here saturday.
you're AD and coach sat idly by hoping things would work out. at first they did....and then they didn't....and now baby face UF wants to point fingers at the big meanie. just win the game and shut us all up. otherwise, enjoy the game either way.

The next time Louisiana gets hit by a massive hurricane, I hope that Florida's response isnt "how can we help?", but instead "Hey I have an idea! Let's play your home game in the Swamp!"
You do realize LSU did exactly this in 2005, right?

You gained nothing. Gave up some revenue to play a meaningless game in BR this year.

Florida's stance the whole time was that the game could be played Saturday at noon.
Then Foley shouldn't have cancelled it Thursday morning.

So LSU put their foot in the ground
Just like Foley was doing the week before the storm.
Why is it petulant when Alleva does it, but not when Foley does it?

Florida proved to be the bitch and moved the game to Baton Rogue
Yep.
