For those who don't want to click: It's a Mark Bradley article and he never says or even insinuates the title of this thread.
Also, I agree with every word of the article.

He's not exactly giving Kirby a glowing review.

Did you just link a Mark Bradley article?

The Chubb blocking for McKenzie line is almost word for word..

Or maybe it takes more than half a season to develop as a HC.

Were we suckers for keeping Richt for so long at his pay or paying a guy $3.75M/yr for on the job training? JFC....

Nobody is seriously suggesting that Greg McGarity dump the guy he just hired, but Smart was imported to win bigger than Richt. His first team ranks among the worst Georgia assemblages of the past half-century. He will not be named rookie of the year.
This is a haunting quote. I was all aboard the Kirby Hype train, but man if its not losing steam and fast. I really want to believe its a talent thing, but when Michel and Chubb have 21 yards rushing, something is up. I really think we need a new OC.

Kirby Dumb should be fired.

Chaney's record in the SEC is 9 - 37??? WTF... Putrid.

He had learned everything he was going to learn as a DC. He was as ready for a HC as he was going to get. Now he has to learn how to be a HC. He is and will make mistakes. It will take time. ideally, a coach starts at a smaller school, with less pressure and expectations....learns and then is ready. He has not had that luxury. He will learn and he will get better. We will just have some growing pains until then.

I didn't realize that either. He and Beamer need to be the off season sacrificial goats.

Just ignore the trolls. This will eventually lead to the trolls arguing with each other. At that point, just sit back and enjoy the cheap entertainment.

Don't get excited. A lot of that is with some very bad teams. With a coordinator you have to see how the unit they were in charge of progresses, or regressed. Pittman's OLines have been very solid, and Chaney's offenses have been pretty decent. AS A WHOLE.
