I am. If he hasn't learned to throw better spirals than what I have seen from him by now, he never will learn it.

What about his ability to not get sacked ~8 times?

Harris would have been an LSU legend if our receivers were each over 7 feet tall

Yeah, and coach O had a chance to stick with the guy who was LSU's starter for over a year...and go with the new guy.

You didn't answer either of my questions.

My ideal QB has the ability to lead, manage, make good decisions, change the play at the LOS, find open receivers, hit intermediate passes and protect the football. All of these attributes are more important than his ability to chuck the rock a country mile.

Who doesn't want that in qb? My point is, those things are just not good enough to beat THIS Bama team. Qb's have to be able to make things happen when things completely break down against us. Harris had the potential to be that guy, but the light never came on.

Arkansas threw the ball 48 times. frick off

Yet they still had more rushing attempts than Bama. I guess that's what happens when you are able to convert 50% on 3rd and 4th down against a defense on other planets. Bama is 11th in the nation in opponent 3rd down conversions (29.92%). If they were 50% every game they's be #127. Nobody is saying the Bama defense isn't good,.....but saying they are "on another planet" is nonsense.

Why do you ask this? And I'm pretty sure they have hurt 1 or 2.

More important than that too. You sacked Arkansas's QB 7 times and he still threw for 400 yards even after giving it away 5 times.

FWIW - Harris is easier to sack than Etling. He has absolutely no pocket presence....and half of his overthrows were due to his inability to step up in the pocket and not rush his delivery.
