Know how to drive, thank goodness, or I couldn't survive Texas roads.

You've got Jerry Jones, Ted Cruz, and the Texas Longhorns.
I'll take the bad roads.

20/59 is a terrible interstate for sure. ALDOT has literally been working on it for as long as I can remember.

Believe it or not, I-20 gets worse the further west you go. I didn't think it could but it gets much worse.

Yeah OP must have never been on Mopac or 35 in Austin. 635 in Dallas or 290/610 in Houston.

Just wait till ALDOT starts rerouting 20/59 in downtown Birmingham to surface streets! That will be big fun. I recommend if you are going to Atlanta from the west to just take 459.

It is going to feel even worse when you have your tail between your legs on the return trip.

Alabama roads are better than Mississippi roads are better than Louisiana roads are better than Texas' shitty concrete roads.
I want to go back in time and dispose of whoever was the first person to put concrete for a road.

And Bernie supporters told me roads were the perfect example of socialism.

Concrete is superior to asphalt in every way.

I can not argue about our roads.
I'll say this though, I spent a lot of time in the general Philadelphia, pa area. Nowhere ever in my life have I seen roads that bad. I was surprised at how crappy were.

Pennsylvania and New York City, tolls are ridiculous and the roads are the worst.

I'm in the transportation industry. And I've worked in Texas, Wyoming, and Arkansas. Let me clue you in. Our infrastructure is shite everywhere. You're barking up the wrong tree.

I assume you are coming 10 and turned north in Slidell but that stretch of 20/59 from Meridian to B'ham, you'll be lucky to keep a car on the road there. Its literally all patchwork and like driving on gravel.

No it doesn't.

Did you happen to drive thru Louisiana ? Our new state moto is "shittiest roads in America".
Interstates aren't too bad but streets are about as good as Irac

Along the West Coast, there are so many leftist refugees leaving California and heading up to the Oregon coast that there are entire neighborhoods which have agreements in place to discourage the Californians from buying their homes. The Hollywood hypocrite types are not wanted up there. Seems like the problem is everywhere.
