Lol.

Emasculates Foley on first attempt.

Wait. Wasn't like half your fan base crying an hour ago about how Florida got the better end of the deal?

Haha nope. I'm glad the game is being played and I don't care where. I'm just laughing at the conflicting narratives from the LSU contingent.

I think both sides kind of lose.

Scott Carter? @GatorsScott
The SEC offered some other solutions and LSU administration made it clear that they were unwilling to consider other reasonable options.”-Foley

Roaad I appreciate your effort here but this was a lose-lose deal.
Foley got the better of Aleva in the end, but UF came out looking like pussies scared to play A) when scheduled and B) at night in BR considering the agreement stipulates the game cannot start later than 3:30 ET on Nov. 19th.

Unlike Gainesville, Baton Rouge was hit with an actual natural disaster and needed the revenue from the game, insensitive @sshole.

As someone who lives right in the heart of the disaster area from flooding this is utter bullshite. I don't care if y'all play the game in my back yard but Baton Rouge nor Lousiana is going to benefit from this football game here or there. 95 % of the money spent for any college football weekend comes from our own state citizens. Most of the money made on this and every college football game resides with the schools period. This game will not help one citizen that lost a home due to flooding.

Pretty much none of those businesses are owned by the schools.
Your point is not just irrefutably wrong
I mean it's dangerously and embarrassingly wrong.

LSU made a stupid move demanding the game be played at home. This season is already a wash with no chance at a national title or realistic chance at an SEC title. And yet you fight for an extra home SEC game this year and instead play 5 SEC road games next year with your new coach who is trying to re-invigorate the program and actually win a title. Plus on top of all that LSU and Alleva end up looking like whiny brats who refused to negotiate unless the game was played in BR (for the third year in a row). And you would think LSU would have some sympathy regarding the threat of flooding/hurricanes, but they make fun of Florida and call them cowards for wanting to let their police focus on a potential Cat 5 hurricane instead of a football game.

Oh yeah, bro. It was BR or bust. We NEVERRRR had any intention of playing in Gainesville, whatsoever. We did not want to play in The Swamp at all Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. You seem oh so informed on the topic.

Yawn.
Their police didn't have to focus on anything on Sunday. Or Monday. It's was sunny and beautiful after a single inch of rain and 40 mph winds.

It's almost like pushing the game back to Monday, assessing the effect Matthew had on the area on Saturday morning, and then making final the call on the game makes too much sense. But it's really funny watching the low-IQ Alabama fans do mental gymnastics to paint LSU as the villain despite most of the nation thinking otherwise.
