Would you trade your teams integrity for championships?

I am talking about recruiting athletes that win you championships but also give your school s reputation of guns and drugs and arrests.

Most schools have that and they don't win championships.

I would yes.
But I think it would be only fair to allow the team to vote on it.

Pretty sure Tennessee fans that complained about the annual Fulmer cup would make that trade off now.
Also, 90's Miami says you forgot hookers.

Name a school that DOESN'T have athletes that in some way harm their school's reputation.
Also, LSU recruits those same type of athletes without the championships, so I'm pretty sure you'd rather have what you've got talent wise AND championships than not.

Bama fans need not respond, already have

It's worked out well for AU though (besides that 57 year stretch).

Bama is a good comparison. They remind me of nebraska in the 90's. Give up your soul and recruit thugs just to win games. When people think of bammer they automatically think of everything that is wrong with college athletics. Guns and drugs, etc.

LSU has the same type of athletes.

The quality of LSU posters on this board has gone to absolute shite lately. Are there any good ones left? If so, could you please escort some of these morons back to the Tiger Rant?

Because the rest of the fan bases just keep pumping out gems, right?

I bet if you were to remove all the players who do some type of drug or have a weapon, you would have division III teams, maybe even Juco caliber.

Georgia recruited and signed the same kids and hasn't won shite.

I mean I'd rather have guns/drugs/arrests/fights and WIN championships than be like every other team with guns/drugs/arrests/fights and not win them.
