Foley was the one who created this debacle. Alleva has now returned serve with his own selfish idiocy. Instead of cutting USA a check, a SEC game will simply not happen.
Which school is more deserving of the title Forfeit U? Alleva is making a helluva case for LSU.

No way should we give up a home game for UF's "selfish idiocy". We shouldn't give up the revenue for local businesses, we shouldn't give up the revenue for LSU, and we shouldn't give up one of the best weekends of the year to tailgate.
Screw UF, I look forward to being in Baton Rouge that weekend.

Its not as simple as just cutting a check...
-Large buyout to USA
-Loss of millions of dollars in revenue by losing home game
-Ticket holders lose money
-Loss of over ten million to the local economy with the loss of the game
-having to play OM, Bama, Arky, UF and aTm to end the season
-3 straight road games to close the season, the last being on a short week thursday
-we lost the revenue due to a home game being canceled last season
-Large buyout to USA
-Loss of millions of dollars in revenue by losing home game
-Ticket holders lose money
-Loss of over ten million to the local economy with the loss of the game

Yeah instead of canceling Senior night, depriving a city that just went through true hell $6 million in revenue, forcing a team to play 3 road games in a span of 12 days, risking injury and player safety(that's still important right?), and caving to an incompetent AD and Commissioner we'd rather then play to our terms.
How dare us do that after fighting for 6 days for someone to make a contingency plan for the weekend.

Not even close, actually. I have found fault with how Alleva has handled a lot of things while at LSU. This is not one of those times.
The SEC and UF created this mess when LSU tried every which way to get this game played this weekend or today. Alleva, in my opinion, was brilliant to come out publicly today to say Nov 19 is off the table. End of discussion.
He just very publicly kicked the ball of shite back into the court of UForfeit and the SEC where it belongs, because they created this entire mess.

We played 12 straight games in 2012 because LA Tech game was moved. During middle stretch we played 5 of 6 games on road . The one home game during that stretch was LSU at 11am on a Saturday.
Go play the game and quit being a complete pussy stain.
